Graves County Board of Education member Kelsey Colley was honored Thursday evening for her score of 35 out of 36 possible points on the ACT exam. Colley, a high school senior, is one of a very small group in the Commonwealth – a student who serves on her local school board.

Colley, a student council member at Graves County High School, was elected by the student body to serve on the Board.  Colley said that she enjoys serving and is learning a great deal about schools that most students have no chance to experience.

Colley plans to attend a college in Arkansas. She hasn’t chosen a major, but contemplates a career that involves mathematics.
