More Coal Ash Ponds? Oh. Goody.
Remember the TVA coal ash ponds that overflowed and flooded homes, roads and private property last year? Guess what. LG & E and KU customers get to pay for a BIGGER coal ash landfill.

And you thought the $5 monthly charge just for the privilege of being a customer was the unkindest cut of all? Ha.

Next the electric companies will want customers to pay for line repairs when trees aren't trimmed, when branches overgrow the lines, when overgrown limbs fall down under the weight of an ice storm, taking the lines down too.

Leaving the customer without heat, lights, television, internet access,  and for many, jobs and income.

Don't worry.  Be happy. The Kentucky Public Service Commission is all that stands between you and rapacious utility companies.
