SHARING THEIR SONGS – The "Sedalia Singers," a fifth and sixth grade choir from Sedalia Elementary School, recently visited three area nursing homes to share musical cheer with the residents. The choir performed at Heritage Manor, Mills Health and Rehab, and Green Acres Nursing Home.

Dippin' Dots, headquartered in Paducah, filed for bankruptcy protection when the company could not work out debt payments to Regions Bank.

The company has 200 permanent employees, adding around 300 in summer months.
