Fred Nesler, the long serving representative from Mayfield announced he will not seek an 11th term. Instead, it is rumored he will run for Graves County judge executive according to a report on West Kentucky Star.

One name has surfaced as a potential candidate for the 2nd district seat- that of Graves County School Board member Kelly Whitaker.
