(Frankfort KY Feb. 7, 2012) - Kevin S. Brown filed today in the Kentucky Secretary of State's Office setting up a primary contest with incumbent First District Rep. Steven Rudy.

Brown, who lives in Hickman County, grew up in McCracken County, graduating from Lone Oak High School. 

Rudy has never had a GOP challenger before. He has successfully defeated a several Democratic candidates.

The candidates won't know which McCracken precincts will be in the First District until there is a final ruling on redistricting by the courts or the General Assembly comes up with another plan.

No Democrat has filed to run for the office at this writing.
