Wingo Elementary 3-6th graders recently participated in "The Pillowcase Project" which is sponsored by Disney.
Choy Perry, Red Cross Representative visited the school to instruct students in a disaster preparedness and survival skills program.
After the presentation the students received a sturdy pillowcase in which they could create their own personal emergency supplies kit if they ever need to evacuate their home.
