On Tuesday evening, according to Howard Walker and a team of McCracken Democrats, 500 people showed up for the "Let's Get Together" rally. These were the heart and soul party faithful of the far western Kentucky Democratic Party.

The tables in front of the speakers' platform was set up for 400 seated guests. The seats were filled. Another 100-150 stood in the back of the hall.

This crowd came to get psyched up and motivated to launch the last two weeks of get-out-the-vote effort for the Democratic ticket.
