Dems fill spots in coordinated campaign
- The Kentucky Democratic Party today announced those who will fill several top positions focused on ensuring the success of Democrats across the state in the General Election.
Democratic Coordinated Campaign Director: Sherman A. Brown - A graduate of Xavier University, Sherman's first campaign was in 2002 for Congressman Ken Lucas' reelection efforts.  In 2006, he managed Jerry Rhoads' successful state Senate campaign and in 2007, he was a member of the Beshear/Mongiardo campaign.  Sherman served as Finance Director on Bruce Lunsford's 2008 Primary campaign before becoming Finance Director for the Kentucky Democratic Party, where he served until joining the coordinated campaign.
Democratic Coordinated Campaign Political Director: Dick Prelopski - Dick has lived in Kentucky for half a century and has spent over 40 years working in politics, getting his start in Bell County where he served as president of the Young Democrats. His first statewide campaign was in 1971 when he worked on Wendell Ford's campaign for Governor. Since that time, Dick has worked primarily in field and management positions with several governors, including Paul Patton and Steve Beshear. Dick comes to the coordinated campaign after having served as Daniel Mongiardo's campaign manager in the 2010 Primary election.
Democratic Coordinated Campaign Field Director: Dan Hardcastle - Dan is an experienced field organizer who has worked on races across the South and Midwest at the congressional, statewide, and presidential levels.   He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in voter contact, grassroots outreach, and volunteer recruitment.
