WEST KENTUCKY GOES FOR DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR

2003 Red Counties went to Ernie Fletcher

 2003 Tan counties went to Democrat Ben Chandler.

West Kentuckians went to the polls and reversed course from 2003 by voting

overwhelmingly for Steve Beshear and Daniel Mongiardo. At this writing, of 32 counties, incumbent Fletcher won threecounties - Allen, Butler and Grayson. (Henderson County stats are unavailable). Almost 37%, over 1/3, cast their ballots. Over half of Allen County voters turned out. Ballard, Edmonson, Graves, Hickman, Lyon, Hancock, Marshall and McLean Counties all saw turnout of over 40%.
