Please check out Senate Bill S1025; it is empowerment of the National Guard by providing us a seat on the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The funding for this action will be from current budget, so there are no new expenses. If you have ever had your town flooded, experienced tornadoes & ice storms, been in combat, then you know the National Guard is ready and capable. We deserve a seat!!!!
Contact Senator McConnell and Senator Paul and ask them to support this legislation. The Guard is made up of our family, friends and neighbors - they deserve to be more than minor pawns at the Pentagon.
