Mayfield features one of the most interesting galleries in Western Kentucky in the old Mayfield icehouse.

Located not far from where Dems and Reps will be having their get-ready-for-the Picnic breakfasts, the Icehouse Gallery is home to all sorts of gourds, arts and crafts and is a nice air conditioned spot to pick up some un-political souvenirs (read early Christmas shopping) before heading out to Fancy Farm.

The Mayfield/ Graves County Arts Guild is a non-profit arts organization operates the Gallery located in the historic Ice House, 120 North 8th St. (corner of North and North Eighth Streets) in Mayfield. The Guild is accessible to individuals with disabilities. The Guild’s regular hours are Tuesday – Friday 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Admission is free.
