 Wow! What a Winter Photo Contest - perfect for snowbirds.
(Clinton, KY March 3, 2014) – Got a great picture of this historically cold and snowy winter 2014? A photo snapped of a cozy scene during a storm? Family, friends, pets playing in the snow? This year’s winter scenes have been captured on cell phones, tablets and cameras, large and small.
The Hickman County Arts Council is seeking this year’s winter photos for its “Wow! What a Winter” 2014 Photo Contest. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three photos. All photos submitted will be displayed during the Spring Chicken Festival.
Contest rules for this year’s contest are similar to the 2009 Ice Storm photo contest the Arts Council sponsored after that memorable event. Over 80 photos were submitted in that contest.
Contestants submit unframed 8" X 10" photos between March 15th and April 15, 2014. Photos must be taken on or after December 1, 2013. A $5 entry fee is required. There is no limit to the number of photos entered. All ages are eligible to enter. Applications will be available at banks and local businesses and on this website by March 17th. |
