Alison for Kentucky River County bus tour arrives on Saturday.

Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes will be the keynote speaker in the annual Jefferson Jackson dinner at the Curris Center in Murray. Democrats from across Kentucky will gather in the Curris Center to hear their best hope for sending a Democrat to the U. S. Senate.

On Saturday, Grimes will tour Carlisle, Hickman, Fulton and Ballard Counties in what the campaign is calling a jobs tour.

 “Our campaign is about engaging all Kentuckians, and this weekend’s tour through West Kentucky is an opportunity to do just that as we continue building a robust grassroots organization throughout all 120 Kentucky counties,” Grimes Political Director Elizabeth Cantrell said Thursday.

“This election presents a stark choice between two drastically different visions for the future: one that is focused on creating economic prosperity and another that is staunchly holding the Commonwealth back.”
