Graves High art department has work of five students accepted, two awarded in KyAEA Regional Exhibit at MSU
Bubble by Jovana Jelic, GCHS student, to be displayed at MSU.

Graves County High School's art department has had the work of five students accepted into the Kentucky Art Education Association's Regional Art Exhibit hosted at Murray State University. Two of the students' work also received awards.

"Simply to have work displayed in this show is quite an honor, considering the large number of submissions," said Graves High art teacher Laura Cope, "and for two of those students to receive awards is highly commendable!"

A reception is scheduled between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13. The event will begin in the seventh floor Clara M. Eagle Upper Gallery in the MSU Price-Doyle Fine Arts Building. The public is welcome to attend.

Graves High students whose work will be displayed include Jacob Gonshorowski, whose piece was awarded third place in drawing, and Kiersten Baker, whose drawing received honorable mention. Additional students whose art will be on display include Jovanna Jelic, Logan Andrews; and Bella Noles.
