Fancy Farm 2016: Jesse Wright ready for rematch with Heath
Candidate Jesse Wright supports term limits for House members.

(Fancy Farm 2016) - Candidate Jesse Wright came to Fancy Farm ready to talk to the voters of House District 2. Unlike his opponent, incumbent Richard Heath, Wright didn't spend his five minutes discussing state or national politics. Following his opponent to the stage, Wright opened his remarks by reminding the audience that the one thing that Heath didn't list are his accomplishments.

According to Democratic House candidate Jesse Wright, Heath hasn't proposed anything since his election in 2013. Wright told the audience that "We need somebody to go to Frankfort and do some work. We've given him a fair chance to go to Frankfort and get results."

wright promised to stand up for teachers, union members and skilled trades. He I will stand up for our teachers.

Wright touched on a sore spot for union members. He said that he seldom agreed with the president of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, but he agreed with the statement that right to work is not in the top five issues businesses look at when locating.Wright said he supports term limits for House members.

Jesse Wright promised Graves Countians that he will go to Frankfort and "do my job."
