Wingo Elementary sixth graders recently became Crime Scene Investigators when they entered math class.

According to math teacher Jessica McClure, the classroom door was covered with crime scene tape when students arrived. Upon entry into the class, they found "staged" evidence that had to be marked and plotted on a coordinate grid. Students gained experience in plotting points in all four quadrants and then determining the distances between two points.
