Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren Contribute to a Progressive-Themed Essay Collection

Melville House announced plans to publish an essay collection entitled What We Do Now: Standing Up For Your Values in Trump's America. The book will feature manifestos by liberal-minded political figures, famous journalists, and the heads of progressive organizations.

Valerie Merians, the co-publisher of the company, gave this statement in the press release: "Donald Trump ran a campaign based on hate. We know that his vision of the country is not shared by a majority of Americans. Our hope is that this book will galvanize, and provide a roadmap to, the millions of Americans who want to fight back by standing up for their values."

Both Merians and Dennis Johnson, the co-publisher, served as the editors of this project. Some of the notable contributors include Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Bernie Sanders, and feminist icon Gloria Steinem. Below, we've posted the full list of writers.
