Stateline.org is the place that policy wonks wind up at when they need a fix of statistics, pie charts and bar graphs.  The latest is a report on state tax revenue. Worst sufferers in recession: Arizona, California, Michigan, and Rhode Island. Suffering least? North Dakota

 

Haven’t had enough? For more of the same, go to the Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government has a scary report on their website on the decline of revenue collection. Collections were down 141.8 billion in the fourth quarter of 2008.  Rockinst.org
